Terms of Use — Vireya

Vireya is an AI-powered plant health application. It analyzes plant photos to provide diagnoses of potential problems, care suggestions, and recovery tracking. It also offers a chat feature with the "Dr. Vireya" AI assistant for plant-related questions.

All diagnoses, suggestions, and information provided by Vireya are for informational purposes only. They:

• Do not replace professional gardening, agricultural, or botanical advice,
• Are not guaranteed to be accurate or precise,
• May be incorrect or incomplete, as they are generated by artificial intelligence.

You are responsible for any decisions you make regarding your plants. Vireya cannot be held liable for any damage to your plants resulting from following its suggestions. For valuable or sensitive plants, we recommend consulting an expert.

When using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes,
• Refrain from any behavior that damages, abuses, or overloads the system,
• Not upload content that infringes the rights of others,
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.

• The App creates an anonymous account automatically. Signing in (with Apple, Google, or email) is optional and lets you keep your account across devices.
• Your plants and their details are stored locally on your device and synced to your account in the cloud (Google Firebase, hosted in the EU) so they follow you across devices; only you can access your account's data. The photos and answers you submit for a diagnosis — and your Dr. Vireya chat messages — are also processed transiently by our AI provider to generate your result or reply and are not retained by that processing.
• You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes all of your cloud data from our servers as well as your local data; deleting the App removes only the local copy.
• How we handle data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Vireya's core features are currently available for free. Vireya may offer subscription-based premium features in the future. If and when such subscriptions are offered, the following terms apply:

• Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store.
• If a free trial is offered, the subscription automatically converts to a paid period unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations are made through your device's App Store account settings.
• Payment is charged to your App Store account upon confirmation of purchase.

Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy; since payments are processed through Apple, refunds are also handled through Apple.

The App, its design, brand ("Vireya", "Dr. Vireya"), logo, and content are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to Can Çağlar. They may not be copied or used without permission. Photos you upload belong to you; we process them solely to provide the service.

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of Vireya. The service is provided "as is."

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continuing to use the App after updates means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Turkish courts have jurisdiction over disputes.
